Plentix — Privacy Policy
Effective: September 7, 2025
Summary (non-binding): Plentix is an 18+ platform. We collect and process limited personal data to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including content classification and safety features (e.g., sensitive-media labels and age-gating). You control your settings and can exercise privacy rights as described below.
Who We Are & Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Plentix, LLC and its affiliates (“Plentix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our websites (including plentix.gg), mobile applications, products, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility (18+)
The Service is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service. We may use age-gating or other verification measures; if we cannot reasonably verify that you are 18+, we may limit features or access.
Information We Collect
We collect the categories of information below, depending on how you use the Service and your device settings:
a) Account & Profile
- Account credentials (name, email, third-party sign-in identifiers). We store hashed authentication identifiers and use third-party providers for verification and authentication.
- Profile information you add (e.g., display name, bio, avatar).
b) User Content & Metadata
- Photos, videos, audio, text, captions, comments, streams, and related metadata (e.g., file types, device capture data).
- Content labels and safety signals (e.g., “Sensitive/Adult,” “Violence/Graphic”), including labels you apply and labels we may assign via automated or manual review to enforce age-gating and warnings.
c) Device & Usage
- Device and app data (e.g., device type, OS/version, app version, language, settings).
- Log data and diagnostics (e.g., IP address, timestamps, crash logs, performance data).
- Interaction data (e.g., pages/screens viewed, taps/clicks, session length, referral pages).
d) Location
- With permission, precise geolocation (latitude/longitude) for features that require it (e.g., live features). If you disable precise location, we may still infer approximate location from IP or general device signals for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
e) Communications & Support
- Messages you send to us (e.g., support requests, feedback) and related technical diagnostics (e.g., device model). We may retain complaint reports (including about other users) to enforce our Terms.
f) Cookies & Similar Technologies (Web)
- We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies for essential functions, analytics, and (where enabled) measurement. You can control cookies via your browser/device settings.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including hosting, transcoding, thumbnails, captions, accessibility, and search).
- Enforce our Terms (including sensitive-content labeling, age-gating, and visibility limits) and protect safety, integrity, and security (e.g., moderation, fraud and abuse detection, spam prevention).
- Personalize your experience (e.g., feed ranking, non-sensitive recommendations, language).
- Communicate with you (e.g., account notices, changes to terms/policies, support).
- Comply with law and exercise or defend legal claims.
- Measure performance (e.g., analytics, quality, and reliability).
- Where enabled, support monetization models (e.g., subscriptions, marketplace, and limited advertising/measurement that excludes sensitive content).
Automated Processing: We may use automated systems (and human review) to detect policy violations, apply or correct labels (e.g., Sensitive/Adult), filter spam/malware, prevent fraud, and limit distribution of certain content.
Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Where applicable, our legal bases include:
- Contract (to provide the Service).
- Legitimate interests (e.g., safety, security, analytics, service improvement).
- Consent (e.g., precise location, certain notifications, sensitive-content settings where required).
- Legal obligation (e.g., responding to lawful requests, tax/records).
How We Share Information
We share information as needed to operate the Service and as permitted by law:
- Service providers and processors (e.g., hosting, storage/CDN, authentication, analytics, moderation tools, payments). They must use information only on our instructions and for our purposes.
- Partners for service features you choose to use (e.g., third-party sign-in).
- Law enforcement/government or third parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, our rights, property, or the Service.
- Corporate transactions (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets).
We do not sell personal information. Where “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising is deemed a “sale/share” under certain laws, you may opt out as described in Section 10.
Sensitive Content & Safety Signals
The Service permits lawful, consensual adult content subject to strict labeling, warnings, and age-gating. We process:
- Labels you apply to your posts and account (e.g., Sensitive/Adult, Violence/Graphic).
- Automated safety signals to help gate sensitive content, reduce its visibility in discovery surfaces, and prevent exposure to under-18 users.
We do not allow content involving minors, non-consensual intimate media, sexual violence or exploitation, or other categories prohibited by our Terms.
Your Choices & Controls
- Account settings: manage profile, notifications, privacy, and content labels.
- Content controls: choose audience/visibility; delete your content (subject to limited retention in backups and legal holds).
- Device permissions: enable/disable camera, microphone, photos, notifications, and precise location at any time in device settings.
- Cookies (web): control via browser/device tools.
- Marketing: opt in/out where applicable via settings or unsubscribe links.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business needs (e.g., safety, security, fraud prevention), to comply with law, and to resolve disputes. Backups are kept for a limited period and are not accessible to other users.
Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on your location. You can make a request by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.
a) EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
- You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
b) California (CCPA/CPRA)
- Right to know/access, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information; right to non-discrimination.
- We do not sell personal information. To the extent our analytics/measurement could be deemed “sharing,” you may opt out by emailing [email protected] and indicating “CCPA/CPRA Opt-Out.” We honor verifiable requests and applicable global privacy signals where technically feasible.
c) Canada (PIPEDA)
- Access and correction rights; ability to withdraw consent subject to legal/contractual restrictions.
- Contact us to reach our Privacy Officer for questions or complaints.
d) Other US States (e.g., CO, CT, VA, UT)
- Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, opt out of targeted advertising or profiling, and appeal a decision. Contact us to exercise these rights.
International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use approved safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Most browsers offer “Do Not Track” or similar signals; we do not alter our practices based on DNT signals alone. Where required by law, we will honor applicable global privacy signals (e.g., GPC) for opt-out preferences when technically feasible.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may link to third-party sites/apps. Their privacy practices are governed by their policies, not this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated within the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
